Introduction
Below is a list of independent shops where you can buy my books and artwork in person, or reach out to them directly through their websites or email. If you’re in or around New York City, I strongly recommend going in person. You’re not just supporting my work—you’re supporting small, community-based shops and the artists they champion. If you like what I do, there’s a good chance you’ll like what the other artists in these spaces are doing too.
At the bottom of this page you’ll find info on custom artwork. As a general reference, a one-off piece about the size of a hand starts at $200, with prices increasing for larger or more complex work.
As part of my effort to support small businesses, I’ve taken many (if not all) of my books off Amazon. Whenever possible, please buy directly from one of these bookstores.
Artwork-Focused Shops
3rd and Bizarre
191 E 3rd St, New York, NY 10009
This shop carries a selection of my books and a large range of my artwork, including some bigger pieces. It’s a shared space with multiple vendors offering vintage and bespoke clothing and other unique finds.
East Village Vintage Collective
545 E 12th St, New York, NY 10009
You’ll find a wide selection of my artwork here alongside work from other local artists. The shop has a strong retro feel, pulling from the 1970s and 1980s, with lots of affordable clothing. They also publish the East Village Vintage Map, which is a great starting point if you’re exploring the neighborhood for art and fashion.

If you’re not in New York City, you can purchase directly from me.
• Books: $25 each + $10 shipping (U.S. only). For international orders, shipping will be quoted separately.
• Every direct book order includes one free fanzine while supplies last.
Smaller artworks (like those you may have seen in Art-o-Mat machines or shops) are $5 each, with a $20 minimum order. Larger pieces—similar to what you might find at Mystery Mart or in their vending machines—vary in price.

Films
A selection of my films is available to stream for free (with ads) on Tubi. And yes—I hate to admit it—but a few are still floating around on Amazon too.
Books Available at These Shops
Each book is approximately $25. If you contact one of these shops, you can also ask for a free copy of one of my zines, if they’re still available.
Village Works — St. Marks Place, NYC
Village Works carries all three of my books, along with a limited selection of my artwork. It’s a fantastic, community-centered shop focused on New York City culture. You’ll find books, clothing, and objects you won’t see anywhere else. They regularly host live events, readings, book releases, art parties, and exhibitions—definitely worth a visit.
12 St. mark’s Pl. 1pm to 1am daily in the East Village for titles on NYC Culture
Quimby’s Bookstore — Brooklyn, NYC
536 Metropolitan Ave, Brooklyn, New York, NY 11211
Quimby’s has been a longtime supporter of my work. They carry all three books, several fanzines, and a wide selection of my artwork. If you’ve seen my film Man in Camo, you’ll recognize Steven from one of the interviews. Quimby’s is also one of the best places anywhere for fanzines and locally made art.
Afterword Books
216 E 6th St Store East, New York, NY 10003
Afterword is a newer shop in the East Village and already a great one. They stock all three of my books, fanzines, and a selection of my artwork. They also host frequent events and are deeply engaged with the local creative community.
